Hi friends!!

For this time I am going to talk about the topic “Education and Prevention”.

From high school, I have been interested in the education of children and teenagers, specifically sexual education, because when I had this age, I had many doubts about this topic and nobody taught me in a good way. So now, I am in the University, and I have knowledge that I want to teach to these young people.

Well, education involve prevention, so I think that the best way to prevent and that the young people understand it, is across an interactive way, I mean, if we go to teach about sex, we do not have to do it in a classroom where everyone only are listening or seeing images about the reproductive system, rather, we have to talk with the same language of child and teenagers, and teach about everything that for the parents and teachers are a taboo topic, and of the things that this group of people shows interest.

If we educate to a young group, we will be able to anticipate early and, of this way, maybe, decrease the rate of derivate problems, in this case, ITS, VIH, teenager pregnant and sexual precocious beginning.

In Chile lamentably there are programs about sexual education that are failure due to these are realized by not specialist people and the way in which these topics are carried out are not showy for the children and teenagers
